| This aircraft was
used by the US Navy as an advanced trainer from 1954 to 1978. It
was stored at Davis Mothan AFB, Tucson Arizona, until I acquired
the aircraft in 1989. The first civilian flight was in 1990. T28s
were used during the Viet Nam war as ground attack fighters. As
a fighter they could carry 4,000 lbs. of bombs, rockets, and two
50 cal. Machine guns. |
